| Value-added Services |
Mail Sherlock is integrated with the SOPHOS Scan Engine to provide an e-mail gateway with a scanning mechanism for powerful scanning and virus code update features. It eliminates viruses upon identification of an infected mail. If the mail cannot be sanitized, Mail Sherlock will isolate it and notify the system manager. An infected mail will be isolated before they can enter the mail server. This protects the server and your PC from being infected.
The scanning function covers the attachment contents, and supports MS Office documents (.doc,.xls,.ppt) and RTF, HTML, and PDF files.
Mail Sherlock is compatible with the existing AD (Active Directory) or LDAP Server in your system, to allow access to the unified account directory and easy management.
Message Reporting function integrates with the organization's internal short message systems (SMS) to send the various notifications.
