HGiga's ViruSherlock is a powerful anti-virus gateway system to be installed between the firewall and mail server to protect the mail server from virus attacks. All outgoing mails are to be filtered by ViruSherlock real-time before being delivered to the internal mail server or to the Internet directly. ViruSherlock is a virus scanner and spam filter. An incoming mail will be scanned by ViruSherlock to make sure it does not contain viruses. When a mail containing a virus is identified, the system will repair (or clean), isolate, or delete the attachment. ViruSherlock also provides a mail filtering function as the second protection mechanism which does the followings:
