  Meiloon  Industrial  Corporation

Established in 1973, Meiloon is a professional amplifier manufacturer and today has became ODM for several world leading brands, including Sony, Philips, Compaq and Dell. Last year, the company purchased a low-price simple firewall and it became the victim of MS Blaster virus at September this year. The infected computers generated large amount of aggressive packets that paralyzed the network and crashed the firewall. Even worse, Meiloon was unable to locate the infected among up to two hundred computers. To solve this thorny problem, Meiloon decided to use HGiga's "Load-balancing VPN Firewall" PowerStation.
Although the infected computers continued to generate aggressive packets during the initial stage of PowerStation's deployment, Blaster virus was unable to downgrade the performance of PowerStation. It was because PowerStation has gone through extensive pressure testing under extreme conditions. After activating the Intrusion Detection System (IDS), PowerStation successfully located infected computers from the log file and then disconnected them from the network. Finally, Meiloon's traffic was back to normal and network was restored in the fastest possible time. PowerStation – Load-balancing VPN firewall is the best effective protection against viruses that generates DoS attack on the network.

   YoungTek  Electronic  Corporation

YoungTek Electronic is a Taiwan-based later-stage semiconductor foundry and IC design company. The company has around 200 connected computers with outgoing connection using ADSL and T1 leased line. However, a conventional firewall can only handle one WAN line. Therefore, for enterprise that has more than two WAN lines, even firewall management became a complex task. In order to solve this problem, YoungTek deployed PowerStation – the Load-balancing VPN firewall from HGiga. By utilizing PowerStation's bandwidth "Trunking" feature, it simplified the conventionally complex problem of having one WAN line for each firewall. PowerStation's unique bandwidth redundancy feature ensures the Internet connection is always connected even in the event of a link failure by the automated line switching. Furthermore, PowerStation is a multifunctional firewall that incorporates bandwidth redundancy and line aggregation. In another words, PowerStation is the best bandwidth management tool for your enterprise.

  IWill  Corporation
   Federal Corporation

Federal Corporation is one of the best tire manufacturers in Taiwan with over 700 employees. In addition to reinforce the manufacturing quality, the company also considers network resource's integration and utilization with great importance. Previously, the rented leased line and ADSL service were used for emailing and Internet browsing. However, under this arrangement, Federal Corporation was humped by the increasing difficulty in account and bandwidth management. These difficulties were caused by: Firstly, the unstable usage of Internet forced the company to subscribe to high cost leased line and ADSL. Secondly, each employee requiring MIS to configure its individual SMTP and POP3 accounts. These problems persuaded Federal Corporation to use PowerStation— the Load—Balancing VPN Firewall from HGiga.
One of the unique features of PowerStation is bandwidth Trunking and redundancy to save expenses by aggregating several leased lines and ADSL. Moreover, the smart NAT feature effectively solves the problem of having insufficient internal IP addresses. Since Federal Corporation deployed
PowerStation, the network performance, in terms of emailing and Internet browsing had become stable.
The account management is also no longer the bottleneck of network administration.
Hence, PowerStation is a firewall no only economical but also helping your enterprise to enhance
productivity.
